Meet our Kickstarter Reward Bundle contributors! - Edition #23
Kim Gee donated her mini-comic Rudderless, which documents her “post-grad summer and the thought process that went along with it.”
Tell us about yourself: “I’m a 20-something graphic designer by day, cartoonist by night. I self-publish autobiographical comics about dating, self reflection, and coming of age in New York City. I’m also working on a comic book guide to HTML with No Starch Press that should be out later this year (after being a successful Kickstarter project like Ladypoints!)”
Tell us about your work: “My personal work is about feeling uncertain, whether that be about relationships, or my career, or who I want to become. I think it’s important for young girls to see that the “I don’t know what I’m doing with my life” phase doesn’t necessarily end once you graduate high school, but that’s okay. It’s important to flail a bit to figure out who you really are and what you really want.”
