custom comic commission, micron pen on bristol.

i’ve been waiting all month to show this off!  when issue four of the comics launched i had a reader contact me about ordering a couple issues.  we figured out some shipping issues and then he asked if i ever did custom work.  i sure do!  a flurry of emails were exchanged and we worked out a plan for a two page comic for his one year anniversary with his girlfriend.  he wanted to show the story of how they met and highlights from their first year together.  over the next week he sent reference photos, i sent back loose sketches, and eventually i ended up with this.  i sent it off the the UK earlier this month and the happy couple celebrated their anniversary yesterday :]

needless to say i had a blast drawing comics about somebody else for a change, and i would love to turn this into a regular gig.  feel free to email me if you have an idea of your own!  kimgee@kimgeeillustration.com
